Legislature

CEEA Proposal

Directly in line with V3SSEL's mission statement, the CEEA bill aimed to increase opportunities in school to increase engagement in politics. Various initiatives of this multi-pronged bill included requiring Government classes to be offered and opening voting booths in high schools, V3SSEL has worked with several politicians on CEEA.

FFLA Proposal

Created by our Miami chapter, the Florida Financial Literacy Act (FFLA) focuses on mandating financial literacy courses to be taught in Florida public schools. The act was drafted due to the alarming lack of financial awareness that most students have. The bill was eventually presented to members of the Florida state legislature, marking a landmark moment in V3SSEL history,
