What is Project Poseidon?

Project Poseidon is V3SSEL’s public speaking program. Sponsored by Google, Project Poseidon is a V3SSEL initiative that teaches students from 3rd-8th grade public speaking and debating skills free of cost over an 10-week period.

The students are taught by experienced debaters with a fun, yet rigorous, lesson plan. They are guaranteed to emerge from the course with newly enhanced public speaking abilities. V3SSEL is excited to announce that Project Poseidon is relaunching for it’s 2nd year! Project Poseidon is starting from March 20th from 12pm-1pm.

Want to be a Volunteer?

Project Poseidon's volunteers mentor children on weekends and teach them the fundamentals of successful public speaking. Volunteers earn community service hours.

We are looking for passionate, responsible, and creative individuals to teach our curriculum. A background in debate/public speaking programs such as Model United Nations, Speech & Debate, or Mock Trial is preferred, but applications are open to all.
